Scripture (Acts 6, 1 Timothy 3) teaches us that deacons are to be men who function in a service role to the church body. Qualifications for deacons are listed in 1 Timothy 3:8-13. Deacons at Calvary are selected from among church members on an annual basis. Submit your nomination for our Deacon Ministry Sunday at our Welcome Center or online beginning September 7!
