Student Choir Serves, Sings, and Shines in San Diego
Our Student Choir just wrapped up an amazing trip to San Diego, where they combined ministry, music, and a little fun in the sun.
Early in the week, they teamed up with Mesa Church to invite local families to a block party by hanging flyers and door tags in nearby neighborhoods. Later, they got their hands dirty at the San Diego Food Bank, sorting and packing food for those in need. They also brought some smiles—and music—to a local assisted living home and helped out at Mesa’s summer event that night.
The group also served and sang at New Day Urban Ministries before enjoying some classic San Diego sights like the zoo, a sunset hike at La Jolla Cove, and a boat tour. And, of course, no trip to the west coast would be complete without a beach day, a stop at SeaWorld, and cheering on the Padres at Petco Park!
We’re incredibly proud of our students for the way they represented Christ and our church family. As they continue into a summer filled with camps and discipleship opportunities, we invite you to pray for them—pray for boldness, maturity, and a deepening love for Jesus. God is clearly on the move in the lives of our teenagers, and we can’t wait to see what He does next!
