Big Truths, Bright Lights, and Changed Lives at VBS

VBS 2026 was an incredible week at Calvary as children, leaders, and helpers gathered forIllumination Station. While many people claim to know about Jesus, many are still in the dark about who He really is.

Throughout the week, kids explored the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals as they learned more about Jesus and the truth of the gospel.He is the Light of the World! We are thankful for the ways God worked through Bible study, songs, missions, recreation, crafts, and every moment in between. This year, we had 922 children and leaders in attendance and recorded 34 salvation decisions that our team is now following up with.

We also collected $5,890.20 through our Giving Challenge...way to go kids! That offering was used to purchase around 500 children’s Bibles in Spanish, which are now (this week) being distributed by our mission team through our partner, Bethel Church, to children in Teupasenti, Honduras!

Thank you to every leader, helper, parent, and church member who prayed, served, gave, taught, welcomed, encouraged, and helped make VBS 2026 possible. We are grateful for a church family that invests in the next generation here at home and around the world.
