Anthony Work is our new High School Pastor

We are excited to announce that Anthony Work has accepted the position of High School Pastor. Anthony has served as our Middle School Minister for the past three years and has done an incredible job in that role.

In his new role, Anthony will also provide leadership to our overall Student Ministry. Please join us in praying for Anthony, his wife, Jordan, and their daughter, Amelie, as he steps into this new role and continues to lead and serve our students.

“I am genuinely excited and humbled by the opportunity to serve Calvary in this new capacity and to see what God wants to do through our Student Ministry in the years ahead. Having already invested in this ministry, I am grateful to take on greater responsibility for leading students to become fully devoted followers of Christ.

My heart is not simply to build a ministry that students attend, but a ministry where they know they belong, grow in their faith, and take ownership of following Him.  I am especially excited about building a culture where we initiate relationships with one another, invite students into community and into a relationship with Christ, and involve them in the life and mission of our church.

Above all, I am praying that God would use our team and me to faithfully steward this opportunity and point our students to live out Romans 12:12, "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." — Anthony
