Honduras:Taylor Seymore's Story

“While in Honduras, I helped minister to around a hundred children who had traveled with their families from all across the country to receive medical care. Seeing these children eager to hear the gospel and return every day with more and more of their friends was the most rewarding part of the entire trip.
They walked in exhausted and hurt, but they left full of a hope only the Lord can give.
This taught me that, despite language barriers, with God I can bring light and comfort through a smile and a helping hand. Above all, this experience taught me humility. I came to Honduras thinking I was going to give, since these people need so much. However, they are so content—despite their circumstances—that I ended up receiving so much more.
I left with a renewed sense of purpose, a deeper appreciation for resilience and faith, and a heart forever changed by the faces—and hopes—I encountered along the way.”
