Calvary Served at the Food Bank

On April 5th, our church had the privilege of serving at the Food Bank of Central Louisiana, an organization dedicated to alleviating hunger across 11 parishes through programs like the BackPack Program for children, the Senior Nutrition Program, and Mobile Food Pantries.
Our volunteers packed over 17 tons of food, including 877 student backpacks, 483 senior boxes, 450 emergency food boxes, and nearly 7,000 pounds of fresh produce. This effort supports the Food Bank's mission to provide nutritious food to those in need, ensuring that children, seniors, and families in our community have access to essential resources.
Thank you to all the volunteers who helped make this happen!
