Jesus, the Light of the World SHINES at Special Needs VBS
Our recent Special Needs VBS was a blast! It was held June 23-26 and each night pointed to the good news that Jesus is the Light of the World, who brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals the truth of God’s love.
More than 270 participants and volunteers were part of this amazing week, including individuals with special needs, their typical siblings, parents, and many faithful servants who helped make each night possible. The week was filled with Bible teaching, music, activities, laughter, encouragement, and the kind of community that reflects the heart of Christ.
The celebration concluded on Friday night with more than 300 people coming together to rejoice in all God had done. We are grateful for every family who attended, every volunteer who served, and every moment that helped shine the light of Jesus.
Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” (John 8:12). What a gift to see that truth celebrated so clearly through Special Needs VBS!
