Adult Growth Group: Reasons to Follow

An in-depth exploration of the Bible, led by our staff, where we will learn and apply Biblical answers to today’s questions.

Wacky Wednesdays

Each night features themed Bible lessons, interactive games, and plenty of fun-filled entertainment. These nights are designed for children in Grades 1-4.

Pursuit – Middle school

Our gatherings are all about mixing things up with different activities, themes, and sometimes even locations. But no matter what, we’re guaranteed to have a blast, strengthen our bonds, and discover more about God’s love for us. Get ready for some epic nights!

The Forge – High School

This summer, High School Ministry is the place to be! Get ready for some incredible nights filled with fun, games, and worship. We’re talking legendary-level hangouts all summer long! Don’t miss out on the action—make sure you’re in the mix!

Parent’s Night Out

It’s time for all the parents to have a night out, and we want to make it really simple for you. All you need to do is register, drop your kids off with our staff/volunteers, and go on a date or enjoy a night with other parents. It’s that simple. Don’t worry about feeding your kids. We got that covered too!

Life Group Classes Serve Our Community

Three Calvary Life Groups teamed together recently to donate to the South Central LA VOA office’s Diaper Drive. The Encouragers, Abundant Life, & Wisdom For Life classes contributed a total of 1,125 diapers that the VOA will use in support of their family ministries programs in Cenla in the upcoming months. VOA staff were so excited and thankful to receive these donations from Calvary. Student Choir’s Trip to San Antonio, TX

Our student choir had an amazing trip to San Antonio, filled with fun, service, and memorableexperiences. From a thrilling day at Six Flags to a relaxing boat cruise down the historic San Antonio Riverwalk, our students grew closer together while enjoying getting to know each other on a deeper level. One of the most meaningful parts of their trip was serving and singing at Haven for Hope, a homeless service organization. They also sang at the San Antonio Rescue Mission for a worship service, as well as served and sang at Hill Country Daily Bread ministry one day. After touring the Alamo, they wrapped up the trip with a wonderful dinner at the Chart House in the Tower of the Americas, enjoying breathtaking views of the city. Thank you, church family,for supporting our Student Choir! The trip was filled with incredible experiences combining fun, service, and learning!

Middle School Field Day- REGISTER
Saturday, June 22 :: 9:00am – 1:00pm
Middle School Students will have a field day at the JW Davidson Park in Woodworth. Students will enjoy a variety of field games and free time activities! Students will travel in church vans together. Drop-off is at 9:00 am and pick-up will be at 1:00 pm at XA. All students will need to wear active clothes & closed-toe shoes. Please register your student(s) by Friday, June 14 – it is FREE!

High School Lake Day – REGISTER
Sunday, June 30 :: 11:45am – 8:00pm
Grab your friends and let’s head out to the Lake for an afternoon of tubing, wakeboarding, and swimming! We will gather in XA gameroom after worship at 11:45 am and we will eat lunch. We will ride out to Kincaid Lake after lunch and arrive back at 8:00pm.

Middle School Swim Party – REGISTER
Sunday, July 14 :: 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Middle School Students will enjoy an evening of fun at the Beyond Fitness at the Courtyard. Students will also be able to use the basketball & tennis courts. Dinner will be provided! Students must wear a modest, one-piece swimsuit and bring a towel or two. Please register your student(s) by Sunday, July 7 – it is FREE!

Churchwide Prayer Service

Our entire church family is invited to gather for this special night of prayer for our church & community.

Patti has dedicated 14 years of exceptional service as our Executive Assistant, while Janet has led our Preschool Ministry with unwavering commitment for 13 years. This is a come and go event. Help us make this a memorable occasion for these two outstanding ladies!
