Nathan and Emily Taylor are church planters in the Calgary, Canada, area, along with Melody, Madilynn, and John Mark. FBC Choudrant, LA is their sending church, and Calvary is a sponsor of their ministry. The Taylors visited Calvary in September, just a few weeks before John Mark was born. Nathan has arrived in Canada to begin training, and Emily and the children will arrive on December 6. Their church planting residency is at Southwinds Church in Calgary, and Nathan also works bivocationally as a nurse. Jacob and Amanda Ambrose are church planters in the Boston area, along with their three children: Lyla, Joshua, and Aaron. Temple Baptist Church in Ruston is their sending church, and Calvary is a sponsor of their ministry. They arrived in Medford, MA in July where Jacob is serving on the staff of Redemption Hill Baptist Church as a church planting resident. Two trips are planned for Honduras in 2024. From January 15-21 a construction team will be building a parsonage for a Honduran pastor who has been persecuted. He lives several miles from the church, and his family members have been attacked and threatened when he was away. The new home will be built adjacent to the church and be gated for security. Our summer trip to Honduras is June 18-25. It is a medical, dental, and veterinary trip. There is also room for a lot of people who are willing to assist in a variety of ways and engage in evangelism. A date for an informational meeting will be announced early in 2024.
