Kids will be challenged and learn to speak the truth in love as they discover God’s truth never changes, and everyone needs Jesus! VBS is designed for children who have COMPLETED pre-k 4 (turn 5 by September 30, 2024) through Grade 5. It features Bible Study, Crafts, Missions, Music, and Recreation. All children are invited to attend.

May 11 :: 6:30am-2:30pm
Calvary Fishing Tournament at Cane River Lake @ Shell Beach landing. Safe Daylight until 2:30pm.  Five Fish limit. Fish individually or in teams of two. (If you are registering for the fishing tournament, your $100 registration includes “A Night with Clay Dyer” on Friday night. If you want to attend “A Night with Clay Dyer” only, the cost is only $25).

Come listen to professional fisherman Clay Dyer give his testimony. Clay has overcome living with no arms and no legs to be a professional fishermen and declare the Gospel. Over spring break, some of our middle school students chose to be a part of Project Cenla. Over several days, they served alongside multiple organizations in Cenla. Please pray for these students and leaders as they continue becoming Mission Minded Servants.

Our students served at the Food Bank of Central LA and helped package over 150 food bags, 800 weekend food bags, 1,000 bags of potatoes for families, and 600 individual heads of cabbages! Our students are communicating, team building, and serving one another in many ways. We are thankful for the Food Bank for allowing us to serve them!

We were extremely grateful for Louisiana Baptists and Louisiana Baptist Disaster Relief for allowing us to use/learn about their mission field. They are doing some incredible work not just in our state, but even across the globe.

Fostering Community is an incredibly important ministry in Cenla. They support families who provide foster care and the children who need fostering. Our middle school missionaries went shopping to gather household items and groceries for youth over 18 who are in extended foster care. It helps them as they transition to adulthood. It was also a chance for our middle schoolers to learn about both serving and household shopping. A huge shoutout to our incredible team of 54 volunteers who rocked it on April 13, 2024! Together, they packed a whopping 29,990 lbs of food, including 360 senior boxes and prepped potatoes for future distribution. Don’t forget, church family, your generosity directly impacts our community by supporting organizations like the Food Bank of Cenla. Every dollar you give makes a real difference! This camp is for children who will enter Grades 4 or 5 in August 2024. Children will experience Bible Study, Worship, Recreation and more! Will travel by church vans to Tall Timbers.

Middle School Summer Camp

All Middle School Students who will be entering the 6th-8th grades next fall, this summer camp is for you!! Camp is July 30-August 2 and will be at Tall Timbers in Woodworth, LA. It will be jammed pack with ways to discover a relationship with Jesus and make deeper connections with new and old friends. Register today! Cost is $275.00. You do not want to miss this!!

Fun in the Son Tuesday

Fun in the Son Tuesdays are designed for children who will have completed Grades 1-4. Each Fun n the Son Tuesday will feature a sport/activity, Bible time, games and lots of FUN!
