Single Adults

Class description: The Encouragers class is made up of mixed adults that have one common goal.  This goal is to live our lives to the fullest seeking God's will, and encouraging each other through friendship and prayer.  Every Wednesday night a small group of us meet for supper in Calvary hall eat supper and write we Care cards to our members who have birthdays, sickness, special concerns and just sometimes happy notes.  Class member ages range from 35 to 80.  The class is composed of “experienced” single adults.

Bible Discovery

Class description: Our class is made of people who are full of life experiences, wisdom and who are teachable. Our goal is to move toward having a daily walk with God that extends beyond the walls of Calvary Baptist Church. To crave and seek the presence of the Lord God Almighty in our lives Monday through Saturday. To progress from a willingness to bare our souls before God to an ability to praise God in the difficulties to an ability to take what God has done and use it to minister to others. (Psalm 142, 57, & 34)

New Beginnings

Class description: Our class is a diverse group of adults who seek to study God’s word and apply it to our daily lives. We love to discuss the truth of God, fellowship, serve, and live abundantly in the world. We welcome all single adults to join us in our adventure.

Divorce Recovery

Class Description: Our class provides a safe place where individuals can talk with others who have gone through or are going through the divorce process. Our goal is to provide a practical, Bible-based approach for dealing with the feelings and issues associated with divorce. With the help of God and others, we desire to move beyond the crisis of divorce and find hope for the future as a contented single adult.
