Student Ministry

Chi Alpha (XA) means Christ First in Greek. We base our student ministry name from Matthew 6:33 which says, "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." When we give God first place honors in our life we open ourselves up to the greatest blessings imaginable. Our student ministry is tremendously blessed by God because we choose to put "Christ First" in all that we do. Student ministry is the calling and passion of the XA student ministry staff. We love you and hope you find a home with us at Chi Alpha.

XA student ministry exists to walk with you and your student(s) through the teenage years. We want to partner with you to help develop your child into a "fully devoted follower of Christ." In order to accomplish this task most effectively, we have adopted a seven year strategic teaching plan (7 Checkpoints) and provide well trained and loving mentors to teach and walk through life with your student(s) in Small Groups. Our XA student ministry staff is here to serve you and help in anyway that we can. We love you and look forward to partnering with you.

Currently, the majority of Chi Alpha students come from Alexandria Senior High, Brame Junior High, Pineville High School, Country Day, Bolton, Menard and Grace Christian. We also have students from Pineville Junior High, Peabody, Alexandria Middle Magnet, Tioga, Oak Hill, Buckeye, Poland, Rapides, and Home School.
