Loving Care for Special Needs Ministry

Welcome to Calvary’s Loving Care for Special Needs Ministry. Our ministry serves persons of all ages with a developmental or physical disability and their family members and other caregivers. Our activities throughout the year include Sunday School classes for all ages, a monthly Family Night with a parent support group and a monthly respite night. We also have BIG summer plans. Our summer activites include Vacation Bible School especially designed for children with special needs, their siblings and parents, Tuesday Loving Care in July and various activities just for teens and young adults.

Our volunteers have a loving heart for persons with special needs and are trained by the Director of our Special Needs Ministry. We invite you to join us at Calvary and let our family share the love of Jesus with your family.

Current Sunday School Classes:
Preschool
Elementary age
Teens
Adult Ladies

Monthly Family Night:
The first Monday of each month at 6:00pm. Children are cared for in Children’s World while parents meet for a support group in A209 on the second floor of our Adult Education Building.

Monthly Respite Night:
Typically on the second Saturday of every month from 6 to 9 pm. for children with special needs and their siblings.

Tuesday Loving Care
Tuesday Loving Care in July is a Mother’s Day Out program for children with special needs through 6^th grade. The program is every Tuesday in July 9:30 to 2:00. 

Other summer activities for teens are still being planned.
