Marriage Mentors

 

Marriage Mentors is an opportunity for you as a couple to be mentored by a trained mentor couple within our church for the purpose of restoring and strengthening your marriage. If you're having marriage difficulties, you'll be paired with a couple who will demonstrate, teach and help to apply a scriptural-yet-practical approach to conflict resolution, communication, sex, finances, and more.

Is the mentoring relationship confidential?
Yes

 

Marriage Mentors is for couples in crisis, couples amidst relational struggles, and couples desiring leadership and accountability in their lives. To qualify for this mentoring program, you must:

- Be married

- Regularly attend one of Calvary’s worship services

- Regularly attend/will commit to regularly attend an Adult Sunday School Class at Calvary.

- Sign the statement of commitment

- Pay the Marriage Mentors fee

- Complete the Uniquely United Personality Assessment

 

From your first contact with Calvary’s minister to the final mentor/mentee meeting is variable and depends on the commitment and willingness of the mentee couple. Every mentee couple will receive resources that take approximately 12-14 weeks to fully complete. Even still, the mentoring relationship could last up to one year. Mentors and mentee couple will determine their own meeting time and location. (The suggested frequency is every week or every other week.)

 

Marriage Mentors are trained, committed couples who are members of Calvary willing to invest in the lives of another couple by intentionally imparting the wisdom of God’s word and their life experiences through a well defined process over a period of time.

 

There is a reasonable fee that will be discussed with the mentee couple before committing to the mentoring relationship. This fee simply covers the resources the mentee couple will receive and the Uniquely United Personality Assessment that the mentee couple will take. 

 

No. Marriage Mentors is not counseling, it is one trained mentor couple regularly meeting with another couple for the purpose of strengthening and restoring your marriage.
